I am beyond honored by this feature, How Megan Linke Is Reinventing Herself Through Times Of Adversity. As a longtime fan, I have always resonated with their ability to cover various topics from fashion to travel to lifestyle with grace and elegance.  This is something I strive for myself as I have so many passions I like to share with all of you.  This piece is especially vulnerable for me as I try to keep things positive and inspiring, but the truth is sometimes life is hard and it’s important to share that too so others know they aren’t alone.  I’ve had several significant losses in my life over the past year and had to dig deep to find my way forward.  There is simply no greater pain than losing the ones you love, especially when it comes far too soon, and I am proud of my resilience.  Often the hardest times show you what you are made of. Oak Park, Illinois is one of my favorite places to visit.  Located right outside of Chicago it was designed for families that want that city feel without actually living in the city.  Oak Park has been home to some influential people, including Ernest Hemingway and Frank Lloyd Wright; In fact, you will find many of his home designs here.  Downtown Oak Park is full of shops and restaurants and hosts countless community activities year-round.  I made the trip with my mom and niece to see Andrea Bocelli, but we took full advantage of the area while we were there and so I want to share with you the places we stayed, dined, and shopped along the way.
