Red Runs Deep! I recently had the opportunity to attend the New York Fashion Week event for The New York Red Bulls, where they debuted their 2023 kit design (an Adidas partnership with the talented Daniel Patrick).
I had the best time and this is especially meaningful to me because Liam is on the New York Red Bulls Pre-Academy team. He plays on the 2013 North Team, but also plays up on the 2012 team and will be playing his second tournament with that squad this weekend. Liam’s coach, Justin Duque, is an amazing coach and mentor and we absolutely adore him. Liam is so grateful for the opportunity he has been given and I am very proud of his dedication, determination, and endless hard work.
I was able to spend a few minutes chatting with the designer, Daniel Patrick, about our sons’ experiences playing soccer. Daniel has designed impressive collections of luxury sportswear and is carving out his legacy as a true lifestyle brand. The inspiration for his collections comes from cities like LA and NYC, hip hop music, and athletics and the results speak for themselves. Daniel’s design for the squad is absolute FIRE and really captures that energy, creativity, and artistry NYC is known for.
The city was electric with so many Fashion Week events. The exclusive event was hosted at The Venue on Music Row at Hard Rock Hotel with lively, enjoyable performances by DJ Reg West and Girll Codee. The Red Bulls were well represented by fashion at the event, but plenty of attendees donned fun fashion week creations as well.
We are grateful to be connected to the wonderful Red Bulls organization. Here’s to a great season to come for The Red Bulls and the Pre-Academy!
