A little black dress will forever be a classic staple in any wardrobe. It simply never goes out of style and there are so many fun, on-trend ways to modernize the look. You may say I’ve been on a bit of a LBD kick lately (to put it lightly) so I thought why not share some of my current fave finds with you! Bonus: Most of these are insanely affordable on Rent the Runway. So get ready to follow along and find your favorite holiday garb for the upcoming season…
Khaite
Puff sleeves! Need I say more? It’s total throwback chic, not to mention super feminine and flattering. Channel your inner Audrey Hepburn with this baby and be the talk of the town, gala, dinner date, or whatever you fancy.
Khaite
I love this one for the playful length paired with the preppy button up collar. This combination makes it incredibly versatile and great to pair with heels or boots, a jean jacket or faux-fur…the possibilities are endless so use your imagination with this baby.
Scotch & Soda
Maxi’s are the silhouette of summer, but the color and material of this one will have you sauntering into the winter season with a messy updo and an old fashioned in hand.
Nanushka – Roberta Dress
No LBD round-up would be complete without the look of leather! This has a similar cut to the Carlina but the belted waist and leather material completely changes the look. Forget romance, this is the dress when you are feeling like a complete bad ass and want everyone to know it.
Self-portrait
Not technically a dress but maybe my favorite of the lot. It has it all… trendy, fancy, fun, and hugs in all the right places. Put this on and instantly look and feel put together, but be warned: heads will turn so proceed with caution…or not.
Joyfolie – Katia Dress
Hippie chick meets LBD? Here you have it folks. It’s both flowy and folksy. Dressed up enough to fit the occasion but dressed down enough to remain comfortably you. Bonus feature: This will pair amazingly well with boho jewelry and untamed hair.
There’s something for every taste, style sense, and occasion here! Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
