Fun to Do in Orlando: Our SpringHill Suites Adventure
Hey everyone! Just got back from an amazing trip to Orlando, and I can’t wait to share all the fun we had despite the rain! If you’re planning a visit, here’s a rundown of our top things to do in Orlando, sprinkled with our personal experiences from our stay at SpringHill Suites and some great vegan restaurant options.
Stay at SpringHill Suites
Our stay at SpringHill Suites was fantastic! The room was spacious and perfect for families, featuring a double bed, sofa bed, and a trundle bed. The large bathroom and walk-in closet added extra convenience, and the big patio areas were perfect for chilling and soaking up the sun.
The hotel has a large swimming pool where Liam made a new friend, and they enjoyed swimming together. Every morning, we indulged in a complimentary breakfast. Even as a vegan, I found delicious options like oatmeal with toppings and toast with peanut butter. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel also offers a pantry stocked with snacks and drinks, and a restaurant and bar area open from 5 pm to 11 pm. Liam loved the chicken tenders and fries there.
✨ SpringHill Suites offers spacious, family-friendly accommodations with great amenities, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for everyone.
Block Activation Party at Wall Street Plaza
One of the highlights of our trip was the SpringHill Suites Block Activation party at Wall Street Plaza. We had a blast taking photos at the ‘FANMILY in Action’ Photo Booth, and we even got a printed, framed photo to keep as a memento.
Customizing the clear soccer games bags SpringHill Suites was giving away was another fun activity. We added alphabet letters, soccer, and USSF-inspired patches to our bags, which follow all stadium rules, so we could use them for the match later that night. We also enjoyed some free snacks and got some cool airbrush tattoos at the activation booth. It was the perfect way to get hyped for the big match.
✨ We loved that SpringHill Suites goes above and beyond to create memorable experiences for families, with fun activities and thoughtful amenities that make your stay special.
USA vs Brazil at Camping World Stadium
We felt incredibly lucky to be among the 60,000 plus fans at the USA vs Brazil match at Camping World Stadium. The atmosphere was electric! Brazil scored first, but the crowd went wild when the USA scored, ending the game with a thrilling 1-1 tie.
After the match, we headed back to the hotel, and Liam met his new friend again for a final swim in the pool before we returned to our room, exhausted but happy from an amazing day.
